APPEAL AFTER CAR DROVE IN TO BUILDING

We are appealing for information following a collision in Tamworth.

On Thursday (1 October), officers went to Neville Street, Glascote, following a report of a car colliding with a block of flats at around 8.15pm.

West Midlands Ambulance Service and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended.

The driver of the vehicle, a woman, was taken to hospital with injuries.

Officers evacuated several people from the building following damage to two flats and a cordon was put in place.

No further injuries have been reported.

A structural engineer was contacted.
