Bike Marking - 10th Oct ALEXANDRA PARK

Our colleagues from Tolworth SNT and Alexandra SNT will be holding a bike marking and registration event this weekend

Saturday 10th October 3-4pm

ALEXANDRA PARK (Near King Charles Road and Derby Road), Surbiton, KT5 9BE

BIKE MARKING - HOW DOES IT WORK?

Officers will apply two highly durable, tamper-resistant BikeRegister QR code stickers directly onto the frame of your bike. If the bike is ever stolen and subsequently recovered, Police can instantly scan the QR code to check its status on the BikeRegister national database.

The tough, UV-shielded material ensures the stickers cannot be cleanly removed without leaving a clear trace and act as a clear deterrent to potential theives

These stickers usually retail at £12.99 as part of the BikeRegister “Membership Plus” Kit but are being offered completely free of charge.

If you'd like to get your bike marked and registered but are not able to attend this event, please contact us via Met Engage and we can look to arrange this at a time convenient to you.
