Dear Members. Good afternoon All, The White Ribbon Campaign for the London Borough of Enfield will run from 25 October to 10 November 2026. As part of Enfield's commitment to the campaign, each ward is required to host a Walk, Talk & Do event involving members of the public during this period. Bullsmoor Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) will be holding its event on: Date: Friday, 30 October 2026 The White Ribbon movement was established in 1991 to engage men in preventing violence against women and girls (VAWG) and to challenge harmful attitudes and behaviours that contribute to gender-based violence. In 2000, White Ribbon Day (25 November) was formally recognised by the United Nations as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Walk, Talk & Do is an initiative open to women aged 18 and over who live, work, or study in London. The initiative provides an opportunity for participants to walk with local police officers through areas where they may feel unsafe and discuss concerns relating to women's safety.
