🚫 Let's Make Penkridge a No-Go Zone for Vehicle Thieves

Good afternoon, hope you're well.

PCSO Millichap would like to make residents aware of reports received in recent weeks relating to a motorbike travelling around the Cannock and South Staffordshire areas, where individuals are believed to be scouting and targeting Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles for theft.

As a heads up to our community, please take extra steps to secure your vehicle and remain vigilant. By working together and reporting suspicious activity, we can help make Penkridge a no-go area for those looking to commit crime in our community.

✅ Ensure your vehicle is locked and secure at all times.
✅ Keep keys out of sight and consider using a signal-blocking pouch for keyless vehicles.
✅ Make use of additional security measures such as steering wheel locks, trackers and CCTV where possible.
✅ Be alert to suspicious behaviour, particularly motorbikes or individuals paying unusual attention to parked vehicles.

Please also ensure that any information or sightings are passed on to your local Neighbourhood Watch groups so that residents can be alerted in real time and remain vigilant.

If you see any suspicious activity, please report it via 101, or call 999 if a crime is in progress or in an emergency.

Information from residents is invaluable and helps us identify trends, direct patrols and take proactive action against those involved in vehicle crime.

Let's work together to keep Penkridge safe and make it clear that criminals are not welcome in our community.

Many thanks

PCSO Millichap
