Neighbourhood Policing Update - Northern Quarter |
||
|
Neighbourhood officers from the City Centre Town Hall team have been carrying out plain-clothes patrols in the Northern Quarter. During the operation, officers carried out several stop and searches. Four resulted in positive outcomes, with three people dealt with by community resolution and one person arrested on suspicion of drug possession. Officers also arrested a man who was wanted by police in Wales. While patrolling the area, officers came across a man behaving in a drunk and disorderly manner and causing problems for members of the public, particularly women. Despite being given several warnings about his behaviour, he continued and was arrested. Officers also seized a motorbike under Section 165 for having no insurance and no driving licence. During the patrol, officers also assisted a woman who required medical attention, making sure she received the help she needed. Your reports help us know where to focus our patrols and take action. Please continue to report concerns and suspicious activity to police. 📞 Call 101 for non-emergencies Thank you for continuing to work with us to help keep the Manchester City Centre safe. | ||
