Yesterday Rick was out in Rush Green visiting college-based anti-social behaviour (ASB) hotspots and speaking to students over 4-plus hours on the ward (7.41 miles). Eastbrookend's Tom Thumb (12pm) and Bardag lakes made way for Footpath 18 towards Harveys Lane (12.28pm). The Thorntons Farm Avenue alley, the car port in Fourth Avenue (12.34pm, p) and the Dagenham Road flats were checked on, before a 30-minute spell outside the Co-op talking to staff and students.
It was then back past the car port and alley (1.18pm), followed by full coverage around the east side of Dagenham Road including Lilac Gardens (1.25pm, p), Footpath 155 (1.43pm) and Gorseway.
All but two streets on Parish Fields were patrolled (2.17pm), before a 30-minute presence in Harveys Lane (2.45pm, p) amid reports of after-school cannabis smoking by college students.
Great Cullings and Valentines Way (3.45pm) also saw coverage late on.
