Ward Updates - 01/10 (Merton Park, St Helier, Ravensbury)

Afternoon all,

We are working out the best way to keep you all informed on this platform, and think that an update per shift might be interesting. (Obviously, this will be bound by what we can release if we have anything of note!)

Today we've had multiple visits across two of the wards in relation to criminal damage. whether this is connected is currently being investigated, but we are on the case PCSO's have spoken to multiple residents about this, but if you have been a victim of criminal damage, please do let us know via 101/999 as appropriate.

We also attended a venue to arrest someone accused of assault. He is currently being spoken to in custody by our PCS.

Our PCSOs also attended an ASB call (Anti Social Behaviour) where a neighbour has been banging on the walls at all hours. Help and advice was given to both parties.

Whilst on patrol, we also spoke to people in relation to cycling on the pavement, and one driver for using his phone whilst driving.

Moving away from proactive to reactive, PCSO Maria had a meeting about arranging a meeting for women in Merton to discuss their thoughts and concerns in relation to VAWG, one of our top priorities. (Violence Against Women and Girls).

As you can see, a very mixed day for your teams.

Have a lovely evening, and hope you don't need us!

Dave and the teams.
