Community speed checks Westbrook

🚔 Speed Checks Conducted on Royal Esplanade, Westbrook 🚔

As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping our roads safe, officers from the Neighbourhood Task Force recently carried out speed enforcement checks along Royal Esplanade, Westbrook.

These checks were conducted in response to concerns raised by local residents regarding vehicles travelling at excessive speeds in the area. Speeding not only puts drivers at risk but can also have serious consequences for pedestrians, cyclists and other road users.

During the operation, officers monitored vehicle speeds and engaged with motorists to promote safe and responsible driving. Road safety remains a priority, and we will continue to carry out enforcement and educational activity across the district where concerns are identified.

We would like to thank members of the community who continue to report issues and support our efforts to make local roads safer for everyone.

✅ Please remember:

Together, we can help make Westbrook and Thanet's roads safer for everyone.
