Day of Action Tackles Anti-Social Behaviour in Highgate

Dear Highgate Residents,

Yesterday (30/09/2026), officers from the Highgate Safer Neighbourhood Team were joined by colleagues from the Hampstead Town Safer Neighbourhood Team and Community Safety Officer from Camden Council for a dedicated Day of Action aimed at tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB) across the ward.

We are aware that concerns around drug-related activity and anti-social behaviour have recently been reported, particularly around the Whittington Estate and the wider N19 area. In response, we carried out joint patrols, engaged with local residents, and visited a number of premises linked to community concerns.

As a result of our activity, we issued several ASB warnings and arrested a male who was wanted for outstanding shoplifting offences.

Thank you to everyone who spoke with officers during the day. We encourage residents to continue reporting crime and anti-social behaviour so that we can target our resources where they are needed most.

Highgate Safer Neighbourhood Team,
