Local Priorities Speeding Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Speeding, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

👮‍♀️ On the morning of 29/09/26 the local PCSO came together with the fire service, traffic and response officers to complete Op Atal (Speed operation). The operation was held for around an hour and half, within this time, 14 vehicles were seen to be exceeding the 20MPH limit, 12 of these cars where given advise by the fire service and watched an educational video on speeding. 2 out of the 14 vehicles were given traffic offence reports due to driving speeds of 37 MPH and 42 MPH ❌

This operation will continue as long as we see a pattern of speeding on this road, your local PCSO has done speed monitoring on this road over the last few months and the amount of speeding that has been witnessed has raised concerns.
