Rick was back on the ward after 13 days away, just in time for the Met Police's 197th birthday, spending time around Rush Green to keep an eye on college-based ASB (8.06 miles).

After a 2.5-mile warm-up around the Eastbrookend Country Park, and a stop off at the Discovery Centre, Rick arrived in RM7's Fels Farm Mews (11.35am).

Valentines Way, Great Cullings and all of Parish Fields (11.55am), including Dandelion Close (p), were next.

Harveys Lane (12.32pm) made way for college ASB hotspots, including the Thorntons Farm Avenue alley, the car port in Fourth Avenue and the Dagenham Road flats, along with a presence both inside and outside the Co-op (12.54pm, p).

It was then back past the car port and into the Thorntons Farm Avenue alley where Rick spoke to college students over the next hour.

A return to Harveys Lane (2.17pm) was followed by Eastbrook Drive and the Eastbrookend Country Park, passing the May and Baker Social Club too, wrapping up the 5-hour, 5-minute patrol.
