Undercover crackdown on E-bikes

This week, officers from the Swinton and Eccles Neighbourhood Teams teamed up with the GMP Bike Unit to tackle anti-social behaviour and the dangerous use of illegally modified e-bikes, scooters, and off-road bikes along the Swinton Greenway.
 

📢 Information provided by reports from residents and members of the public helped us plan a targeted operation involving specialist off-road bike officers and plain-clothes neighbourhood officers.

👮‍♂️ Officers were deployed across Swinton, Monton, and the Greenway network, using a range of proactive tactics to identify, stop, and deal with offenders.

✅ More than 8 vehicles seized with several Traffic and Drug related offences offences dealt with.
