As part of Operation Octane, we've been working closely with partners to address ongoing concerns about vehicle related anti-social behaviour at a Norwich business park.
White Lodge Trading Estate had become associated as being a hotspot for car meets, dangerous driving, excessive noise and nuisance, impacting local residents and businesses in the area.
Through a joint problem-solving approach, measures were introduced, including ANPR-controlled access restrictions to help prevent unauthorised access during key times linked to vehicle anti-social behaviour.
Since the introduction of this scheme reports of vehicle nuisance and anti-social behaviour on the site have reduced significantly.
Operation Octane is an initiative set up across the county to prevent, deter and tackle anti-social driving and behaviour linked to vehicles, while also supporting those who attend vehicle meets in a safe and considerate way.
