Vehicle Inteference- 26th September- Whinchat Street

Good evening,

We would like to make residents aware of vehicle interference on Whinchat Street.

Reports indicate that two males have been seen trying car doors in the area. On at least one occasion, they gained entry to a vehicle. The most recent incident occurred on Saturday 26th  September on Whinchat Street at approximately 05:50am.

We would ask all residents to remain vigilant and take the following precautions:

• Ensure all vehicle and property doors are locked at all times.
• Do not leave valuables on display inside vehicles.
• Check that any CCTV systems, Ring doorbells, or other security cameras are working correctly.
• Review any footage you may have covering the relevant time period.

The footage obtained so far shows:

• One male wearing a maroon jacket.
• A second male wearing a grey jacket.

If you have any information that may assist, or if your CCTV, Ring doorbell, or other camera system has captured any relevant footage, please reply to this email.
