Welcome to Medway, Students!

🎓 It’s that exciting time of year when students from across the UK and around the world arrive in Medway to begin the next chapter of their lives.

Officers from the Medway Neighbourhood Policing Team recently attended the University of Greenwich Medway Campus Welcome Fair, where we had the opportunity to meet new and returning students, introduce ourselves, and share how Kent Police supports the local community.

It was fantastic to see so many enthusiastic and ambitious young people looking forward to their future. We spoke with students about staying safe, getting involved in their local community, and signing up to My Community Voice to receive local news, crime prevention advice, and policing updates direct to their inbox.

We were delighted by the positive reception from students and staff throughout the day and enjoyed answering questions about policing, safety, and life in Medway.
