On Sunday 20th September, officers from your local Safer neighbourhood Team conducted bike marking at the London Cycling Festival which was being held in Victoria Park, east of the Crown Gates, an event organised in partnership with Tower Hamlets Council. Officers were able to register around 40 bikes during the event and were on hand to provide some useful advice around bike security and crime prevention. The overall event was very well received leading to a great opportunity for the local Safer Neighbourhood Teams to engage with the cycling community.
