Trading Standards visits

Good afternoon all, your Foleshill neighbourhood officers PC 27656 Craner and PC 28226 Turner have been working with Trading Standards today visiting various stores around Foleshill. 

The officers worked in partnership with Trading Standards to visit the stores to ensure that trading and purchasing policies are being upheld by the stores.

The visits today resulted in a number of counterfeit cigarettes being seized along with a vehicle believed to be involved in storing counterfeit cigarettes which was seized for having an expired tax.

PC Turner has recently joined the Foleshill team after spending the last few years working as part of our response team in Coventry. He is enjoying getting to know the area in more depth and working with partner agencies to tackle various different crime types.

West Midlands Police work closely with Trading Standards to tackle retail crime and to ensure policies are being followed, we conduct regular visits to stores in Foleshill and will continue to do so.
