Highgate Day of Action - Update - 24/09/2026

Today (24/09/2026), officers carried out proactive patrols and enforcement activity in Highgate, targeting hotspot areas for mobile phone thefts and vehicle-related nuisance and anti-social behaviour.

Some of you may have seen officers conducting patrols and vehicle stops around Swain's Lane and Milfield Lane, N6, as part of this day of action.

During the operation, officers stopped three vehicles. As a result of these checks, one vehicle was seized after the driver was found to be driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a driving licence.

We remain committed to tackling crime, disrupting offenders, and addressing the issues that matter most to our residents. Activity such as this helps make our roads safer and demonstrates that illegal and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated in Highgate.
