It seems that not a day goes by without another type of cybercrime assailing us. Awareness and vigilance is so important to keep our property and money safe and give us peace of mind. Bob will be able to answer those questions you may have about spotting and safely handling unwanted phone calls, texts, emails and any other forms of rogue communication. You’ll find an AGM poster below as a second page, which you can print out and put up locally.
AN AUTUMN REMINDER Nights are drawing, in so it’s time to make sure your outdoor lights work, and if you have motion sensors they are set appropriately and are in good working order. Although it costs a few pence more, when you go out in the late afternoon or evening, don’t forget to switch on a porch light. It’s also best to leave on a light in the house. Burglars are much less likely to try to enter a lit house. Come to the AGM where timer lights will be available and other devices to make your house seem occupied during the darker evenings and deter potential burglars.
