Operation Lifesaver

Today we will be running Operation Lifesaver across Northern Ireland.  This operation is specifically targeted to improve road safety and detect those who are breaking the rules of the road.  

Every one of us has a part to play in making Northern Ireland's roads safer.  We would plead that you have conversations with family and friends about how we can all take the time to drive and use our roads in a responsible and safe way.

Please take time to consider ‘The Fatal Five.’  These are the main causation factors in serious and fatal road traffic collisions.  If we can all follow these simple rules then our roads will be much safer for us all -
