RESIDENTS REQUEST SPEED CAMERS SESSIONS
Over the past couple of weeks we have received a number of reports / requests from concerned residents in regards to speeding on the following roads within the WINNINGTON AND CASTLE area :
- NAVIGATION ROAD (20 MPH) / SPENCER STREET (20MPH)
- WINNINGTON AVENUE (30MPH / 40MPH)
Two Camera Sessions have been done so far - on various days at different times of the day.
NAVIGATION ROAD - 20MPH (facing uphill) 16:15 - 17:15 - 1 offence with highest speed being 29MPH
SPENCER STREET - 20MPH (facing downhill) 17:45 - 18:15 - 3 offences with highest speed being 29MPH
WINNINGTON AVENUE 40MPH (opposite business park) 17:00 - 17:30 - 0 offences with highest speed being 39MPH
All of these offences will be processed and further camera sessions will be conducted.
