Community Foot Patrol & Partnership Working

A foot patrol was carried out across local hotspot areas, including Davies Way, New North Road and Hainault Station, following concerns raised by local residents, train passengers and families whose children attend the Scouts.

To better understand the issues and identify practical solutions to anti-social behaviour (ASB), I arranged a joint patrol with LBR REO Mr Basit. Together with local residents, we walked around the affected areas, discussed their concerns and looked at what improvements could help make the area feel safer.

Suggestions included improved street lighting, appropriate cutting back of trees and vegetation where visibility is obstructed, and increased patrols during the late evening.
