Good evening Resident
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new Beat Officer for the Newington and Northwood areas. I am committed to working closely with residents, local businesses, and community partners to address issues that matter most to the community and help keep the area a safe place to live, work, and visit.
To provide an opportunity for residents to discuss local concerns, seek advice, or raise any issues, I will be holding monthly community surgeries at the Tesco Manston café. Details of upcoming dates will be advertised, and I would encourage anyone with concerns or questions to come along and speak with me.
You may see me carrying out patrols across the beat area in a police vehicle, on foot, and by bicycle, enabling me to engage with as many members of the community as possible.
Attached is the GPS track from a recent patrol, highlighting some of the areas I have recently visited as part of my ongoing engagement and visibility within the community.
