Illegal E-Bike Seized

Canton Neighbourhood PCSO’s have tackled an illegal motorbike rider during what was believed to be an ongoing drug deal on Cowbridge Road East.  Enquiries are currently ongoing but the bike was seized and has been taken away for immediate destruction. 

We are aware of the ongoing nuisance and concern caused by illegal e-bikes, including dangerous and anti-social riding and their use in wider criminal activity. 

Our team continues to identify those responsible, gather intelligence, carry out targeted patrols and take enforcement action where appropriate, including the seizure of illegal bikes. 

We know this is an issue that matters to local residents and we remain committed to tackling it.  If you have any information, please report it to police.
