London Cycling Festival with Cycle Enfield in Broomfield Park

🚲 London Cycling Festival with Cycle Enfield in Broomfield Park 🚲

Palmers Green, Bowes and Highfield Safer Neighbourhood Teams attended the London Cycling Festival and Cycle Enfield event at Broomfield Park on Sunday 21 September.

Around 60 to 70 adults and children attended, enjoying a fantastic range of activities throughout the day.

👮 Our officers were kept busy with 34 bicycles security marked and registered with BikeRegister. Each bike was fitted with a laminated, tamper-resistant warning label featuring a unique QR code, which can be scanned instantly using a smartphone.

🚴 The day also included an organised cycle ride from Broomfield Park to Grovelands Park, a heritage walk, Dr Bike offering minor repairs and tune-ups, and bikes and ramps for children to try.

💃 There was even an opportunity to try salsa dancing with a local dance studio, as well as a stall offering freebies including bags, lanyards and bicycle bells.

☀️ Best of all, the sun came out and everyone had a great time!
