Bike Marking Event – Abbey Lane Park Stratford Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) has recently identified an increase in bicycle thefts across the ward. In response, we are organising a Bike Marking Event to help residents protect their bicycles and reduce the risk of theft. 📅 Date: 30 September We encourage all local cyclists to bring their bikes along for free security marking and registration with BikeRegister, the national bicycle database used by police forces across the UK. Registering your bicycle can significantly improve the chances of it being recovered if it is ever lost or stolen. This event also provides a great opportunity to meet and speak with your local neighbourhood policing team, discuss any concerns affecting your area, and receive crime prevention advice on how to keep your bicycle and property safe.
