Stolen Vehicle Recovered

We would like to share a positive update from the ward.

On 21 September 2026 at approximately 12:05pm, officers from the Safer Neighbourhoods Team were carrying out routine patrols when they came across a vehicle that raised concerns during their checks. Further enquiries established that the vehicle had been reported stolen on 8 September 2026.

Following additional checks, officers were able to identify the owner and discovered that the vehicle belonged to a resident within an adjacent ward. The owner was subsequently contacted and informed that their vehicle had been located.

Arrangements were then made to ensure the vehicle was safely recovered and returned to its rightful owner. We are pleased that this matter resulted in a positive outcome for the resident involved.

Incidents such as this highlight the importance of remaining vigilant and reporting any suspicious activity. We would like to thank residents for their ongoing support and for continuing to share information that helps keep our community safe.
