Drink Driver, arrested! - 18/9/26

18/9/26, 23:00. Officers patrolling the North Cornelly area arrested a male for drink driving. The driver was slurring his words on speaking to officers and on completing a roadside breath test, he subsequently failed it. He blew 101/35 at the kerb, then 97/35 in custody. Near enough, 3 times the legal limit! A day in court now looms where the chances are high, that he will soon be banned from driving. 

Is it really worth it? Loss of independence, loss of licence, potential loss of job. A severe financial hit too, with fines as well the cost of taxis, buses, lifts. All for a couple of drinks?! No of course it's not worth it.
