I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Thank you all who attended our Walk and Talk event at Wallace Park on Friday 18th September, despite the weather a lot of people turned out to support this event which was greatly appreciated. We have another Walk and Talk event arranged for 23 October 2026 @ Drumbeg Parish Church Carpark, we plan on meeting at Coop Coffee for a free coffee and bun with a walk thereafter onto the Tow path. This event is aimed at women if you know someone who would like to attend please pass this on, all welcome.
