Tackling retail crime |

|
Tackling retail crime is something we’re committed to doing together with our local shops and businesses. Your North Chadderton neighbourhood team is working closely with retailers to prevent theft, reduce anti‑social behaviour, and support staff who are affected by crime. This includes regular patrols, sharing information, and taking positive action where offences are identified.
We know retail crime has a real impact on businesses, workers, and the wider community, and we want to reassure residents and retailers that it is taken seriously. If you witness shoplifting, aggressive behaviour, or any suspicious activity, please report it so we can act. In an emergency or if someone is at immediate risk, always call 999. Otherwise, incidents can be reported via 101 or online. By working together, we can help make North Chadderton a safer place to shop, work, and visit. | ||
