We hope you are all staying safe as Autumn is now drawing in, along with darker mornings and nights.

Hopefully our increased presence and patrols on your streets has not gone unnoticed. As usual do not hesitate to contact us with any issues or concerns so we can ensure to make sure you all feel listened to and heard.

We are continuously looking for new places to host our Police surgeries, so if you have any ideas or suggestions do not hesitate to get in contact with us.

✅ Crime Prevention Tips:

. We are seeing an increase of car thefts, therefore please keep three principles in mind:

-PREVENT

Always aim to remove any valuables from view whenever possible. Stock any equipment you may have in your vehicles in a safe secure location such as a shed.

Always aim to park in busy, well lit areas.

-SECURE

Visible security features can be a strong deterrent, so consider steering or handbrake locks.

Try to use a garage or secure parking spaces whenever possible if they are available to you.

Check your FOB has done its job! Make sure your vehicle is securely locked, and your alarm is activated before you walk away.

-RECOVER

Security mark your cars or any valuables you may keep inside. Property marking kits can be bought online.

As usual if you see any suspicious activity report this to us via 101.
