Monthly Community Update from Sgt Stopher-Murray |

Dear all, I hope this message finds you well. As we move through September I wanted to share a quick round-up of what’s been happening across our local area, what’s coming up, and how we’re working together to keep our community safe and thriving.
🔍 Local Priorities Our current focus areas include: We are continuing patrols and targeted operations in relation to speeding and loud exhausts in and around the ring road. We have issued several Section 59 notices, reported vehicles for breaches of Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) requirements, and carried out speed operations around the ring road, resulting in drivers being reported for traffic offences. We continue to address ongoing issues at the Mill Race Lane car parks, while multi-agency work is also underway to secure speed camears on the ring road. We also continue to issue Community Protection Notices (CPNs) to individuals who are begging or rough sleeping in Stourbridge, alongside referral pathways and appropriate support where required. We are aware the several members of the community are concerned about activities in Stourbridge town centre in the late evening. We have been and will continue to increase visibility in the town centre to make our communities feel safer.
