🚔 Speed Enforcement Update 🚔

This week, your local neighbourhood officers carried out speed enforcement operations at both the start and the end of our set across Kenley, Purley, Coulsdon Town and Old Coulsdon.

The good news? Not a single ticket was issued. 

We conducted a number of speed checks and spoke with several drivers throughout the week, and we're pleased to say that motorists were generally travelling within the speed limits.

It didn't take long before word got around that we were out and about, so we found ourselves playing a small game of hide-and-seek, changing locations to keep things interesting. 

Whilst enforcement is part of what we do, our main aim is prevention and education. If our presence encourages people to slow down and drive safely, then that's a result we're happy with.

Now that we have access to the necessary equipment, residents can expect these speed enforcement operations to become a regular occurrence across Kenley, Purley, Coulsdon Town and Old Coulsdon. The message is simple: drive safely, stick to the limit, and you'll have nothing to worry about.
