Blackfield man, 59, charged with drink driving offence

A 59-year-old man from Blackfield has been charged following a reported road-related incident between East Boldre and Holbury.

Steven Abraham, of Hampton Lane, Blackfield has been charged with driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit.

He has been bailed to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 21 October.

The charge follows an incident reported to police on the evening of Thursday 10 September, in which it was stated there were concerns for the manner in which a vehicle was being driven.
