Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) patrols (15/09/2026)

On Tuesday, Rick and Lee were out with Heath SNT officers on Heath ward as part of an afternoon raising awareness around the ongoing Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) campaign (4.21 miles).

The Heath Park area, as well as surrounding streets from Crescent Road to Marston Avenue, was covered, along with a visit to the Becontree Heath Leisure Centre.

StreetSafe, "a service that allows you to report safety concerns in public places", such as poorly lit streets, was also promoted (www.police.uk/streetsafe).
