Police Activity Update - North London |
||
|
We would like to make residents aware that a number of warrants were executed overnight across the N4, N13, N15 and N17 areas as part of an ongoing investigation into a violent disorder that took place in August. As part of this coordinated policing operation, there was an increased police presence in these areas for a period of time, including armed officers carrying out an arrest in Tottenham. This activity forms part of our continued work to tackle serious violence, disrupt criminality and protect those who may be vulnerable to exploitation, coercion or harm. Detectives from North Area Command Unit are leading the investigation and enquiries remain ongoing. Residents can expect to see additional high-visibility patrols throughout today in the affected areas. These patrols are intended to provide reassurance, answer any concerns and maintain a visible policing presence within the community. We appreciate that an increased police presence can sometimes cause concern. At this time, there is no information to suggest any wider risk to the public. If you have any information relating to crime or anti-social behaviour in your area, please speak with officers on patrol or contact police via 101. In an emergency, always call 999. Thank you for your continued support. | ||
