Please find below a brief update on reported incidents within the Muswell Hill area between 11th September 2026 and 16th September 2026.

🚨 Reported Incidents

🔹 ASB 📍 Princes Avenue Reports of youths climbing onto rooftops.

🔹 Common Assault & Battery 📍 Connaught Gardens Currently under investigation.

🔹 Domestic Violence - Common Assault & Battery 📍 Muswell Hill Area Currently under investigation.

🔹 Attempted Burglary x2 📍 Cranley Gardens

🏠 At 23:32hrs, two suspects attempted to gain access via the front door of a property but were disturbed and made off in a vehicle.

🏠 At 03:00hrs, suspects were disturbed attempting to gain entry via a side door and made off.

🔹 Burglary 📍 Onslow Gardens Currently under investigation.

🔹 Malicious Communications 📍 Muswell Hill Area Unknown suspect making threats from a foreign telephone number.

🔹 Theft From Motor Vehicle x3 📍 Cascade Avenue 📍 Dukes Avenue 📍 Summerland Gardens

🚐 Unknown suspects stole rear light lenses and tools from vans (x2).

🔹 Shoplifting x7 📍 Muswell Hill Broadway

Items reported stolen:

👢 Steel toe-cap boots (£40) 👕 Clothing (£200) 👜 Bags (£700) 👕 Clothing (£640) 👕 Clothing (£145) 🍯 Manuka Honey (£145) 💊 Vitamins (£145)

🔹 Other Theft (Distraction Theft at ATM) 📍 Muswell Hill Broadway Currently under investigation.

🛡️ Crime Prevention Advice

🏠 Burglary Prevention • Ensure all doors and windows are locked and secure. • Consider installing a video doorbell, CCTV, or burglar alarm. • Keep valuables out of sight from windows. • Use timer switches on lights when away from home. • Report suspicious individuals or vehicles immediately.

🚐 Vehicle Crime Prevention • Remove tools and valuables from vehicles overnight. • Use additional vehicle and tool security where possible. • Park in well-lit areas or secure locations. • Mark valuable tools with identifiable property marking.

📱 Malicious Communications • Do not respond to threatening calls or messages. • Keep evidence by saving messages and taking screenshots. • Block the number where appropriate and report the matter to police.
