City Centre Action

Your Street Engagement Team (SET) Officers continue to patrol and respond to incidents within Manchester City Centre

Across Manchester, we’re working with partners to support victims, reduce harm, and keep our communities safe.

SET carries out proactive patrols alongside Manchester City Council Rough Sleepers Team and ASBAT.

Throughout this couple of weeks, we have:

✅Arrested 10 people for a variety of offences including: failure to appear at court, breaching court bail, recall to prison, handling stolen goods and drug offences. 

✅ We have attended rough sleeping encampments on Watson Street and Metrolink Station on Deansgate. During these visits we have worked with Biffa to  remove a lot of abandoned property and waste before these sites posed a health and safety risk to the City.
