✅ Prolific Offender Arrested on Thursday, PC Elliott and PC Karl arrested a prolific offender wanted in connection with theft offences. Following the arrest, the male reported a medical complaint and officers ensured he received appropriate medical attention by taking him to hospital before continuing the custody process.

✅ Supporting Colleagues at Leicester Railway Station Earlier this week, PC Elliott assisted colleagues from the British Transport Police at Leicester Railway Station in dealing with a violent individual. Although BTP are responsible for policing the rail network, local officers will always assist where required to keep people safe and support our policing partners.

✅ Bike Registration Event PC Tom and PC Jane hosted another successful bicycle registration event in Town Hall Square. Registering bicycles helps reduce theft opportunities and significantly improves the chances of a bike being returned to its owner if it is lost or stolen.

✅ Partnership Work to Tackle ASB PC Suhaib, PC Katie, and Sergeant Zane attended a multi-agency meeting with partners to discuss further crime prevention measures at a local car park. Partnership working remains a key part of neighbourhood policing, helping to identify long-term solutions to antisocial behaviour and improve safety for everyone who uses the area.

✅ Bicycle Burglary Investigation PC Tom is continuing enquiries into the burglary and theft of bicycles from within a property on the beat area. This serves as an important reminder that even when bicycles are stored in what seems to be a secure location, owners should use robust D-locks where possible and consider additional security measures such as lighting and CCTV.

✅ Training Future Neighbourhood Officers This week, PC Ellis and PC Dean delivered training inputs to newer police officers, sharing their knowledge and experience of neighbourhood policing. As subject matter experts in community policing, they are helping colleagues develop the skills required to work effectively with communities, partners and local businesses.
