Dear Residents,

Colindale Safer Neighbourhood Team Secures Partial Closure Order to Tackle ASB and Drug Use

Colindale Safer Neighbourhood Team has successfully worked with partners to secure a Partial Closure Order for the communal areas of a residential block within the Grahame Park Estate.

The order has been obtained in response to ongoing reports of drug use, anti-social behaviour, nuisance, and criminal activity taking place within the communal areas of the building, which have had a significant impact on residents and the wider community.

This positive outcome follows joint work between the Safer Neighbourhood Team, Barnet Council, housing partners, and residents who have continued to report concerns and provide information.

The Partial Closure Order was granted by the Court and will remain in force for a period of three months. The order restricts access to specific communal areas and provides police with additional powers to take action against those found breaching its conditions.

We remain committed to tackling anti-social behaviour and keeping our neighbourhoods safe. We would like to thank residents for their continued support and encourage anyone experiencing ASB or criminal activity to continue reporting it to police and partner agencies.
