Increase in Burglaries

Good morning Residents

Over the past two weeks we have seen an increase in Burglaries on our area which has lead to property being taken. The main point of entry has been through open windows.

Please remember:

keep ground floor windows closed and locked when no one at home or overnight

Do not leave valuable property on show and in access of open windows where persons can lean in

Secure and lock all exterior buildings

secure doors overnight

Please report to Police or your local officers:

Suspicious persons hanging around or in your garden

Offences of burglary

Offences of theft

Any concerns to your local beat team
