Mayfield Safer Neighbourhood Team has been carrying out joint patrols with Park Guard Ltd, providing an increased visible presence, reassuring park users and helping to deter and reduce crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB) in South Park, Ilford. Alongside patrols, we are working with volunteers and Redbridge Council to identify longer-term solutions through partnership problem-solving. By working together and listening to local concerns, we aim to ensure our parks remain safe, welcoming and enjoyable spaces for everyone.
📱 Please continue to report crime and ASB so that concerns can be identified and appropriate action considered: Police: Report via the Metropolitan Police website www.met.police.uk or call 101 for non-emergencies. Call 999 in an emergency or if a crime is in progress.
Redbridge Council: Report relevant ASB or environmental concerns through the council's official reporting channels.
