Police Surgery - Knife Amnesty - St Georges Park : Fri 09 Oct 15:00

We are encouraging the public to have their say. Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team will be available on St Georges Park on Friday 9th October 2026 between 15:00hrs and 1600hrs at the above time and location.

Please take this opportunity to raise any concerns you may have and to find out what we are doing to tackle the issues that matter to you. 

Some time ago, West Mercia introduced Knife Amnesty Bins, providing members of public the means to dispose of any knives they had in their possession anonymously with no questions asked. These have been placed at key police stations across the region, but one will be set up on St George's Park on the above date. 

People can simply wrap up the blade in safe material (such as heavy cardboard or thick tape) to cover it and drop it in the bin provided on the day. During previous drives over 200 knives were surrendered in this way in our bins.
