Vehicle ASB on the seafront

We know that vehicle anti-social behaviour continues to be a key concern for residents across Great Yarmouth, and officers have been along the seafront and South Beach parade in Great Yarmouth the last couple of weekends to take some enforcement action.

During these weekends, officers:

Issued six Section 59 warnings (issued for anti-social driving, including speeding, performing doughnuts, and inconsiderate riding. This was a mix of motorbikes and cars)

Seized a vehicle for having no insurance.

Gave two verbal warnings, one Traffic Offence Report and one breach of PSPO for a range of ASB.

Engaged with drivers, riders and pedestrians in the area, listening to concerns and offering advice where needed.
