Community Alert: Quad Bike Theft Near Maunby

We are appealing for information following the theft of two quad bikes from a farm near Maunby.

The theft occurred sometime between 8:00pm yesterday evening and 8:30am this morning. One of the stolen quad bikes was later found abandoned nearby; however, the second remains outstanding.

Enquiries suggest that the suspect(s) may have left the area travelling through Yafforth, Danby Wiske and then towards Deighton at approximately 1:30am this morning.

We are asking residents, farmers, landowners and road users in these areas to please check any CCTV, dashcam, doorbell camera or other footage that may show suspicious vehicles or persons during the relevant times. Any sightings of quad bikes being transported on trailers, in vans, or being ridden on local roads and tracks could be of particular interest.
