Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Wycombe Green, this occurred  Monday 14th September approximately 1500hrs the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

4 unknown suspects have snapped the locks off the back door to gain entry conducted an untidy search search of two upstairs bedroom stealing a quantity of cash and Asian gold before exiting the property via the bedroom window and making off on two surron bikes.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between Monday 15th September around approx. to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

As a precaution, please check that your door locks are secure and correctly fitted. We recommend anti-snap locks with a 3 Star rating, certified to either TS007 or SS312 standards. These locks are available from many locksmiths and security providers.
