House Burglary and theft - Near You - Beverley Street, Bowling and Barkerend, BD4

Dear Resident,

Between 4:55pm and 5:05pm on Monday 14 September 2026, unknown suspect/s gained entry to a property by forcing access at the rear.

Entry was gained after a rear gate was forced and the lock to the back door was snapped.

Once inside, the suspect/s carried out a search of the property and stole a quantity of valuable Asian gold jewellery before leaving via the rear door.

Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, persons or vehicles in their neighbourhood. If you have CCTV, doorbell footage or dashcam recordings that may assist enquiries, please check them for anything unusual around the relevant time.

Crime prevention advice:

Ensure all doors, windows and gates are secure.

Consider additional security measures such as CCTV, alarms and security lighting.

Store valuable jewellery and items of sentimental value in a secure safe where possible.

Record serial numbers and photograph valuable property.
