🚨 If Your Phone Is Stolen

✅ Contact your network provider immediately and ask them to block the handset and SIM card.
✅ Use "Find My iPhone" or "Find My Device" to locate, secure or erase the phone.
✅ Report the theft to police and provide the IMEI number.
✅ Mark the device as stolen on your Immobilise account.

Preston Safer Neighbourhoods Team regularly conducts visits to businesses that buy and sell second-hand mobile phones to identify stolen property and disrupt criminal activity.

📱 During a visit this week to a store on Preston Road, officers recovered six stolen mobile phones.

✅ Ensure the seller has proof of ownership where possible.
✅ Check the IMEI number matches any paperwork provided.
✅ Be cautious of deals that seem too good to be true.
