You Said:

Vehicles are travelling at excessive speeds on Grange Road in Hugglescote, Leicester Road and Thornborough Road in Whitwick, and Loughborough Road in Thringstone.

We Did:

- Officers followed up reports of an off-road bike being ridden at speed in the local area and recorded the information for intelligence purposes.
- Speed monitoring was carried out in Heather, with all vehicles observed travelling within the speed limit.
- Road safety messaging and local speeding statistics were shared on social media to raise awareness and encourage safe driving.

You Said:

HGVs are ignoring weight restrictions and using roads in Ellistown, Ibstock and Heather when they are not permitted to do so.

We Did:

- Dedicated patrols were carried out at key locations across the beat area to identify any HGVs breaching weight restrictions.
- During these patrols, no offending HGVs were identified.
- The local beat team will continue to monitor the area and take appropriate action where offences are detected.

You Said:

There is anti-social behaviour on parks involving off-road motorbikes in Greenhill, along with ASB around local shops and residential streets in Agar Nook and Greenhill.

We Did:

- High-visibility patrols were conducted in Agar Nook and Greenhill, with no ASB identified during patrols.
- Officers visited local shops and community venues to speak with residents and businesses, with no ongoing issues reported.
- The team engaged with members of the community attending a local event, providing reassurance and gathering feedback from residents.
- Concerns regarding damage to community CCTV equipment were identified and reported for further investigation.
