Following recent incidents reported in Letchworth and Baldock involving thefts from vehicles, we would like to remind you of the importance of ensuring your vehicle is locked and secure, particularly overnight.
The incidents have showing a similar pattern, with suspects gaining access to vehicles and taking items from inside. In some cases, vehicles were reported to have been left unlocked.
Please take a moment to check that your vehicle is locked before leaving it unattended, even when parked outside your home or on your driveway, and avoid leaving valuables or personal belongings visible inside. Taking these simple precustions can help reduce opportunities for theft
